Easter 2010 - The Real Deal Holyfield

I quickly remembered to take a picture before we left for church, but there was no way I was going to tell anyone to take off their coat.

These were taken outside of Oscar and Ronnie's church

The Terrific Trio

Here are my babies in the dresses that ulitmately came from Sears. Jory is dressed from that little piece of heaven, that knows siblings aren't siblings if they aren't dressed aliked or at least coordinating, called Children's Place.

I love these kids!!!

One boy, one girl

Layla was barely feeling the whole picture taking thing. Though she loved this window, the only reason this picture is without tears. Jory wasn't digging the whole sitting on the bench thing. He just wasn't.

My eldests

I'm not sure why they weren't smiling. Okay, Rowan doesn't like to smile in pictures, but Jory does.

My girls

I should take these pictures before Rowan's birthday so then the title could read my twins.

Jory hammin' it up

Individual Shots of the girls

Yes, they do have the same hairstyle but Layla's hair didn't get braided down. Next year, we'll work harder on hairstyles before picture taking. That was my bad!

My baby is five

How did this happen? Where did the time go? My baby is a big boy. He likes me to call him baby boy, but then that John Singleton movie goes through my head and then the song by Tyrese and Snoop...and if for one minute Jory thinks "buying" clothes from a dude in the garment district and selling them to ladies at beauty salons is a career or a job to support his baby mama...well, we won't even go there...

Look Who's Three...

and for the first time isn't sucking their thumb! Go Rowan!!!

Someone is T W O!

Yes, this is the one and only picture because someone kept crying and saying, "I don't want to." I don't want to change stinky diapers, yet I have to. "I don't want to" is Layla's new favorite phase. She's two, so I'll let it go, but next year it will be on and hoppin'!

April Fool's

I totally got you guys with that one. I crack myself up. Maybe the best parts were: Whitney whispering, "Who's Jack?" over and over, until I understood what she was saying on the phone....Dee Dee's early morning text, email, and phone call....Steph's pit bull tenaciousness on finding out more details about Jack.

You guys put a smile on my face.

Introducing....

Kalen Alexander John-Benedict or in layman's terms Jack in his first professional photo session. Keeping with our winter theme, we are now adding a November 27 birthday.....Looks like Rowan is a twin once again. SCORE!!!

The Easter Possibilites for the twins

I know certain people, Aunt Louise, Aunt Dee Dee, and others sometimes get the twins confused. It's okay. They aren't identical, but I think the dark brown hair throws people off. So in these pictures, Layla is the one whose dark brown hair is down and Rowan's dark brown hair is in ponytails.

Random Winter pictures

Yes, we live in a tundra. Okay, not really. But somehow God seems to think I want to live in Seattle with all this constant rain.

Endless rain. You can't do anything in the rain. At least you can play in snow. Make snow angels. Have snowball fights. Make snowmen. But rain - - nothing, nada, zip.

Abba, didn't you hear Tony, Toni, Tone, "It never rains in Southern California. It may rain on the east coast or the other side of town, but it never rains."

Oma thought this was the cutest outfit for her then only and first grandchild when we were in Naples.....Like brother, like sister
