The terrific trio...

Why is Jory's foot sticking out like that?  And why are Layla's nails painted?  I know why hers would be painted and not Rowan's.  But why didn't I get the polish off her nails before we took pics?  I probably couldn't find the fingernail polish remover, Oma likes to put things up.  Plus I probably never thought her fingers would be featured or really seen in the photos.  Was it the girls or the photographer who was a fan of the hand on the hip?  I think it was the photographer, though the girls would have loved the pose too.

in all of their glory.  Wow, that's a really big smile from the baby.

My heart stops...

look at the beauties in these pics.  They take my breath away.  When my mind's void/You're my joy/You're the dream when I sleep.

The Irish Twins

Rowan seems to be towering over my baby in the photos were they are right next to each other.  They are only one dress size apart.  Our last year buying both girls' dresses for the toddler section.  Thanks Target for going up to 5T.

Okay my baby looks like a midget when standing in front of Rowan, but how cute are the matching shoes, socks, dresses...matching poses, if only Rowan had bangs.  My beautiful Irish twins.  I'm so blessed to have them.  I should post a year later all the time for their Easter pics, then I can't remember the absolute nightmare I'm sure this session was.  Though so far thank God, none have matched the debacle that was Easter 2009.  Rowan's life was saved by that Sears photographer.

Oh where, oh where

is my handkerchief?  It must be hiding down in his pocket.  How did I not notice this?  See this is proof this shoot was crazy.  I was probably trying to get the girls to chill out and stop touching things and stop spinning around on the stool and I totally missed the lack of matching handkerchief and askew tie.  Picture taking was easier when it was Jory, you know as long as it wasn't naptime that is.

He's so handsome, so loving, so smart, such a wonderful boy.  No one else on earth could have eased me into motherhood the way that he did.

So fresh and so clean...

Aren't they so fresh and so clean?  Her little lace socks showing and her covering Jory's handkerchief that matches his tie, which is slightly askew.  After these pictures were taking, we did a wardrobe change and went to our first Good Friday service at AWANA church, okay the name of the church isn't AWANA but the kids refer to it as AWANA church cause that's where we go for AWANA every Friday night during the school year and VBS.

My boy and my big girl

Look at my two, so in love with each other, with the world, with their cute outfits.  Rowan lovely her dress cause she could spin around in it and she looked like a princess.  I have to say Jory's shirt isn't too far off to say I bought it at the suit store.

My first, my last, my everything...

Jory is so cool that I should be quoting Barry White.  How is my baby eight in this pic?  How is that possible?  His first official suit bought from a men's suit store.  He looks quite dapper.  If this boy had a British accent, the girls would be at his feet.  Hey, can I teach him that?  Madonna has a British accent, why can't Jory?

Isn't she lovely and six?

Look at my big girl.  So beautiful, before she lost her two front teeth.  This year's pics should be interesting.  And look at those socks, why don't stores sell lace socks for girls like that anymore.  I had to buy those off of amazon.  Though they do look great with her dress and the black patten leather shoes.

Isn't she lovely and five?

It's been over a year since we took these pictures, so I don't remember the horror of this picture taking session.  Though I will post the story about the sage in getting these pics, though less of a saga then getting my wedding pictures.

Why our my baby's bangs so long?  Probably because Aunt Lala didn't trim them.

My girls...

wearing the jumpers Auntie Mona bought for them.  She likes to pretend she doesn't know, but this proves she does know that Irish twins and their older girl cousin should dress alike, if not then they are just three random girls in a picture together.  Dressing alike helps people understand you're related.
